Welcome to our charming countryside retreat, offering a unique blend of countryside beauty and the warm embrace of a cozy studio. Now with Fast Fibre Broadband. Nestled within the Buckinghamshire countryside between Milton Keynes and Northampton is this quaint, characterful studio property, Eakley Stables 2 - Pogo. This is one of three stable studios. Please enquire if you would like to book multiple studios and we can check availability. This all-ground-floor holiday accommodation has been designed to offer a base for a couple in which to explore the delights of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire's countryside and spend quality time together. It also suits single travellers or contractors working in the area. Eakley Stables is also a 'Covid-safe' property and can be used for self isolation stays. The property comes with free private parking. Step inside to find a carefully curated space, combining modern amenities with vintage charm. Crisp linen, plump pillows, and a warm quilt ensure a restful night's sleep. Wake up to the gentle sounds of nature in the countryside. The kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances, allows you to prepare delicious meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Enter into the open-plan living room, boasting all the essentials required for a self-catered stay, including a compact kitchen, where you can rustle up some delicious dishes. This open-plan area comes with a comfortable double bed as well as a desk and office chair. Enjoy your meals and plan your itinerary at the breakfast bar, before relaxing into your evening within the cosy setting, where you can flick on the TV before heading to bed. The Smart TV comes with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Concluding the interior is a separate shower room and toilet. Outside, look forward to spending balmy afternoons upon the patio area and sampling local cuisine in the nearby local village pub, The Lamb at Stoke Goldington. Situated 2 miles from the M1 motorway Stoke Goldington resides in a quiet countryside setting 9 miles south of Northampton, 6 miles north of Newport Pagnell, and 10 miles north of Milton Keynes. Local wildlife areas of interest include Salcey Forrest and Emberton Country Park boasting an oasis of nature and history. For F1 enthusiasts the Silverstone Cicuit is only a 20-minute drive away. This stable studio is a wonderful base to call home as you explore this glorious part of England. If we don't see you, when you first arrive, we will pop over to see how you are getting on and ensure that your stay is as comfortable as we can make it.

Positive: Stayed for the Moto GP only 20 minutes from Silverstone! Comfortable, clean, kind and welcoming host. The studio is beautiful and had EVERYTHING we needed! Would absolutely come back here again. Carly Negative: Nothing we didn’t like.. just the leaving part!

Spotless self contained studio nestled in the peaceful countryside Positive: Good shower (warm and strong), absolutely spotless, very comfy bed and bedding, peaceful, off-road parking, attentive hosts that were available if you had any questions but also left you to enjoy your stay if you prefer to keep to yourself, soundproof (didn’t hear other guests), surprisingly spacious, lots of storage space, a desk to work from if needed, provided essential crockery and kitchen equipment, tv with access to Netflix and prime, decent WiFi connection, and dog friendly. Everything in working order and very clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Negative: Tiny thing. I was expecting a gas/ fan oven not a convection oven. It worked fine but was not ideal for the initial meals I had in mind.

Excellent! Positive: Fantastic property! We stayed for the F1 and it was perfect for what we needed. Highly recommend. Hosts were great and we even had a little welcome gift. Negative: Some coat hooks would be good, besides that great property.

Overall it was a great place to reside in for a while and we look forward to visiting the area again! Positive: The stable was well equipped with facilities that catered for all our needs, the host was friendly and accommodating. The barn was done up with character and taste in beautiful, historic surroundings. Negative: The bathroom tap was interesting but made certain needs hard with water ending up on the floor more often than not. The paving throughout was decorative but uneven with sharp corners that should be levelled and smoothed over/improved soon..
